Toll increases in four countries from today

You can read this article in 4 minutes

In July, the price increase of Eurovignette in Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Sweden applies only to older heavy goods vehicles. In January 2020, rates for newer vehicles will also increase.

The raises, which come into force on July 1, applies to trucks of Euro 4 emission standard and lower. The annual fee for a Euro 4 truck with four or more axles will be raised from the current 1250 to 1404 euros. The annual Eurovignette for trucks with 4 or more axles in Euro 3 class will cost 1543 euros instead of the former 1250 euros. The price of a daily vignette will increase drastically – from 8 to 12 euros.  You can check prices using the calculator.

Annual fees:

EMISSION GROUP 1 – 3 AXLES 4 OR MORE AXLES
Euro 0 1.407,00 2.359,00
Euro 1 1.223,00 2.042,00
Euro 2 1.065,00 1.776,00
Euro 3 926,00 1.543,00
Euro 4 842,00 1.404,00
Euro 5 750,00 1.250,00
Euro 6 750,00 1.250,00

As the system manager informs, vignettes purchased before July 1 at the old rates will remain valid until the expiration date („valid until / expiry date”).

The old price list was only valid until 30 June 2019. Therefore, the vignettes on which the date „Valid from / Date of commencement” are July 1, 2019, or later, will be priced in accordance with the new tariffs.

Check where and how to buy Eurovignette

You can buy a vignette both at gas stations and at border checkpoints. You will also find them at over 500 dedicated service points of AGES – the Eurovignette operator. You will pay for a Eurovignette with a fuel or fleet card (DKV, ENI / Agip, Esso, euroShell, eurotoll sas, EUROTRAFIC, Eurowag, LogPay, Multi Service Tolls, OMV, PLOSE, Ressa, Statoil, TOTAL, TSI Global Star, UTA) or by credit card Mastercard or VISA.

You can also purchase the Eurovignette via the Internet via the https://www.eurovignettes.eu website, without the need to register or directly by the selected issuer of fuel cards.

The data that needs to be entered into the system is:

registration number,

– country of registration,

– emission class,

– number of axles

– period of use.

It will also be necessary to indicate the validity of the vignette.

Because the vehicle, after purchasing the vignette, is entered into the system database, there is no need to bring paper evidence of purchase or sticking the stickers on the glass.

Another increase soon

Also, fees for newer vehicles will be increased, although only at the beginning of next year. Then the rates for all Euro 5 vehicles will rise. The annual fee for vehicles of this class with at least four axles will be raised from 1250 to 1327 euros.
