Last Friday on the S3 near Gorzów Wielkopolski in the Lubuskie region, inspectors pulled over a truck transporting concrete from Górażdże to Szczecin.
During the inspection, it was found that the driver had placed a brick under his foot. The lorry driver claimed he had used to the brick to relieve his foot. Naturally, the police weren’t impressed. The deemed the trucker’s solution to be “unacceptable” and added that it created a real risk of the truck’s pedals being jammed.
On further inspection, it appeared that the driver had not securely fasten his load, while one of truck’s brake discs was also worn.
The driver was fined an undisclosed amount as a result of the violations.
