Thanks to this partnership, European carriers can now easily connect their Krone trailers to the Webfleet platform via a factory-fitted telematics system, eliminating the need to install aftermarket hardware.

The integrated telematics solution is available via the OEM.connect partner program. It provides carriers with access to valuable trailer data to enhance trailer utilization, reduce downtime, and improve overall safety, all while saving costs and time, Webfleet emphasizes.

The integration enables full use of advanced features such as comprehensive journey tracking, real-time location monitoring, safety supervision, cargo management, and tire pressure monitoring (TPMS).

“We are excited to partner with Krone to combine data from trucks and existing fleets on one platform, helping even more companies gain actionable insights to maximize efficiency and trailer utilization,” says Jan-Maarten de Vries, President of Fleet Management Solutions at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions.

Carriers can easily activate Webfleet integration via the Krone telematics platform, retaining full control over their data.

“By working with Webfleet, we offer our customers advanced telematics features through the easy-to-use interface of one of the leading fleet management solutions in Europe. With the press of a single button, carriers can access advanced data intelligence and insights without any downtime or installation costs,” adds Maximilian Birle, Managing Director of Krone Digital.

Krone is now the second trailer manufacturer to integrate its trailers with Webfleet OEM.connect. Schmitz Cargobull did so at the end of last year.
