At the beginning of this year, logistics specialist Duvenbeck opened a fulfilment centre for processing orders for goods ordered online in Böblingen near Stuttgart, entering the e-fulfilment sector. This was reported in a press release on 3 April.

With its new e-fulfilment offering, the logistics company now provides all the services that webshop operators or online marketplaces need for e-commerce – from storage and inventory management to packing and returns processing.

The first customers are already using the logistics provider’s all-around service.

Customer orders are sent directly to Böblingen via IT interfaces. According to the company, orders received by 15:00 are compiled, packaged and dispatched to corporate or private customers by express and parcel service on the same day, and can also be climate-neutral on request.

However, we are not only targeting webshops for private customers. Our fulfilment concept is just as suitable for industrial customers whose components and spare parts need to reach the customer quickly and easily, adds Barbara Geissler-Henn, Manager Business Development Contract Logistics at Duvenbeck in Böblingen.
