Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the German Automotive Industry Association (VDA) has canceled the IAA 2020 International Commercial Vehicle Fair in Hanover. The next fair will only be organized in 2022.
This is another major industry event for transport that has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. In March, the organizers of the Logimat fair in Stuttgart gave up this year’s event.
The largest European IAA trade fair, held every two years in Hanover, during which leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and logistics service providers present their latest technologies and achievements in the field of the effective transport chain, was planned for 24-30 September this year . The organizer explains the decision to dismiss the health threat caused by the COVID 19 pandemic and related security measures implemented in many countries.
The next IAA exhibition in Hanover is scheduled for September 2022 .
