After the restrictions related to the All Saints’ Day, drivers have to deal with further traffic bans this month. Check where and when they apply.
On November 17, the Czechs celebrate the Day of the Fight for Freedom and Democracy. Consequently, there are restrictions for heavy goods vehicles with GVW above 7.5 t. Trucks will not be able to travel on Czech roads between 1 pm and 10 pm.
In France, the traffic ban for trucks includes vehicles with a GVW above 7.5 tonnes. Trucks will not be able to move on French roads from 10 pm on Saturday, November 10, until midnight on Sunday, November 11 (Day of the Arms Suspension).
Bans will also apply in Luxembourg. On roads to France, trucks with a GVW above 7.5 tonnes will not be able to move on Sunday, November 11 from 9:30 pm until midnight. From 11:30 pm until midnight, the traffic ban will also apply on roads to Germany.
On Saturday, November 10 from 6 pm to 10 pm and on Sunday, November 11 from 8 am to 10 pm, vehicles and combinations of vehicles with a maximum permissible mass exceeding 12 tonnes are prohibited.
The ban results from the Regulation of the Minister of Transport of 31 July 2007 on periodic restrictions and the prohibition of traffic of certain types of vehicles on roads (Journal of Laws No. 147, item 1040).
