Girteka has agreed to take delivery of 500 Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin trucks, one of the largest single long-haul truck orders announced so far this year. Mercedes-Benz Trucks said the vehicles will be delivered in phases throughout 2026 and integrated into Girteka’s European long-haul operations.

The deal comes shortly after Girteka announced it had secured €74 million in financing from Germany’s AKA Bank to part-fund the acquisition of 1,200 latest-generation trucks as part of its fleet renewal programme. In that earlier announcement, Girteka did not name manufacturers or provide delivery timelines.

Girteka CEO Pavel Kveten said the new trucks are intended to support fleet renewal and the company’s service performance in international long-haul:

“We continue to invest with discipline and long-term focus in strengthening our fleet and service reliability,” he said, adding that the vehicles will support Girteka’s operations for temperature-controlled and high-care cargo carried with its own fleet.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks said the Actros L ProCabin features an aerodynamic cab design, driver assistance systems including Active Brake Assist and Active Sideguard Assist 2, as well as the MultiMedia Cockpit Interactive2 digital interface.
