A website for electronic reporting of posted workers on the territory of the Netherlands which was supposed to launch in January 2018 is set to launch in early 2019.

The Netherlands pushes the launch of the website for reporting posted workers by one year, announces the Dutch Association for Transport and Logistics (BGL). According to the message sent to the BGL by the Dutch trade association Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN), the electronic platform that was supposed to launch as early as January next year is not ready yet. Furthermore, according to information from the BGL, the Dutch government is waiting for the final version of the regulations of the Mobility Package.

Posting drivers to Netherlands

The German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce confirms the reports of postponing the date of the website launch. Regardless of that, the Netherlands has regulations regarding the minimum wage for posted workers, the Chamber emphasises.

In the future, employers will be required to make a prior declaration of posting in electronic or written form, the transport website verkehrsrundschau.de states. Early next year, the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment is supposed to present more detailed information on the website for reporting posted workers and on the new obligation for employers.
