The European Commission has made a proposal limits the amount of trailers up to 4 meters. This idea wasn’t be accepted enthusiastically by the Road Haulage Association.
As RHA affirm, the amount’s decreasing of trailers up to 4 meters may endanger the UK transport market efficiency. Additionally, consider that these limits will lead to more carbon emissions, more traffic jams and inconvenience investment trailer manufacturers.
On the one hand the idea of the European Commission aims to harmonize the rules that will apply in all European countries. On the other hand, British haulier do not see this as positive step and announce, that will provide objections in many ways.
