Girteka has announced the implementation of a new digital refuelling system across its fleet of over 6,000 trucks. The new system, powered by the Fleethand application, allows drivers to initiate the refuelling process simply by entering the pump number into their mobile app upon arrival at designated fuel stations such as Circle K and Shell.

This method eliminates the need for traditional fuel cards, PINs, or additional confirmation steps, reducing administrative tasks and allowing drivers to focus on timely deliveries.

“This new refuelling solution is a step towards providing a safer, more comfortable way for our drivers to complete their daily tasks. By embracing technologies like Fleethand, we are reducing the time spent on routine tasks and mitigating risks associated with physical fuel cards,” said Dariuš Olechnovič, Telematics Team Lead at Girteka Transport.

The initiative is part of Girteka’s broader digital transformation strategy, which integrates advanced technologies such as AI-powered tools, SAP solutions, and robotic process automation into daily operations.
