Police seek witnesses after lorry is hit by paintball pellets on the motorway

Police officers in Thüringen are seeking witnesses after it emerged that a lorry had likely been shot at by someone using a paintball gun.

The incident occured at around 11pm on Wednesday evening on the A4 motorway.

The driver of the lorry was headed in the direction of Frankfurt am Main lane when spots of yellow paint suddenly hit his windscreen near the Gera junction.

Police later took a look at the vehicle and concluded that it had likely been shot at by someone with a paintball gun.

The crime happened around 11:00 p.m. The highway police are looking for witnesses who can provide any facts about the incident or the perpetrator.
